How to Start Your Four Years

Highschool is a new chapter in life. For many, Highschool is a new and foggy terrain. The changes students go through from Middleschool to Highschool is abundant. Adgusting to these new things can be hard, but it doesn't have to be. There are many ways to get ahead in Highschool and make it the best highlight of your life.

When students first enter 9th grade they believe they can slack of the first year, but this just isn't the case. Yes, Highschool is supposed to be fun and have more freedom but many forgot they are still in school. These are your last 4 years and you have to make them count to guarantee a bright future. Middleschool to Highschool work wise is like going from kindergarten to first grade. The amount fo work and rigour of classes changes imdeiatly. By keeping up with ur grades and classes you are making it easier on yourself to the next year. By adapting to this change is igour you are already a step ahead than most students. Having good grades provides flexibility on a monumental scale. failing a class will just give you more work, make your GPA go down, damage your future, and gives even more stress and worry to think about. If students avoid this trap and focus on studies then they are taking out half the stress in highschool. This will allow you to have more free time and will defenitly make you feel better about yourself. Not worrying about it now and worrying about it later will just procastinate the work making it pile till 12th grade. By doing so, students are pushing more food onto the already full 12th grade menu.

Picking good clubs is also a good way to start your Highschool journey. Most people have freinds who have similiar passions and interests as them wether its food, gaming, fashion, art, or music. Finding good clubs gives you something to not only use your timke wisley but also something you enjoy doing while making new friends. Pick a couple clubs that interest you and stickl with them. Many students love the clubs they do and are willing to put in the time to do good in that club. Some clubs also reward hard work. Some clubs will have tournemnts and compeitions to show case your passion and skills in a fun way. The entire point of clubs is to keep yourself busy during your free time to build a strong passion for something.

Another key way to improve your first year is keepijng yourself busy. This doesn't have to be studying all the time. Being busy could be like riding your bike, being in a club, start a website, volunteer at places, start a company, etc. Humans tend to waste their time when they have nothing to do. They get lost in this trap and some can get out but other get stuck in this cycle forever. By keeping yourself busy you are ensuring that you are using your time wisley and not wasting it else where. Allowing yourself to get lazy and do nothing will start to make you want to do it more. It's like an addiction that starts at any time. Being busy can also be fun. It doesn't have to be hard. Even going out at doing photography is a perfect way to keep yourself busy. Think to yourself; what are things I could do right now instead of playing on my phone or watching youtube. Even grabbing a couple friends with you will amek it even better. The next time you feel like sitting and watching Netflix, ask yourself. Should I ask my friends if they want to play basketball? These 4 years might be the last years where you have free time. Adult hood isn't just work and relaxing. There are many other worries that students in highschool just woudn't understand.

The last way to make your first year the best is to start making good friends. Friends are going to be people who push you forward and support you not get you into drama. Popularity is also a huge trap kids get stuck into. If there was trap to avoid the most it would be popularity.Popularity consumes you. It takes your life, friends, passions, and ideas and manipulates it to what society wants and not what you want. Finding the right friends is key to making it through the first year. Find friends who will affect you in a positive way. Good friends will last you your entire Highschool year or maybe even your entire life. A good friend will make your Highschool fun and better.

These are just some ways to make that first year count. Making it count will allow you to make even better memories of Highschool. Instead nof thinking Highschool mas the worst years of your life, these simple changes and tricks will make you wish you were always in Highschool.
